Standing in line for the Obama Rally was terrible - they had really tight security - but once the rally really got underway they just did away with the metal detectors and everyone rushed through. I was able to get really close to the stage and got some detail shots of the signs and of one of the performers. Then Obama came out and everyone got really excited and I took about a million pictures of him, haha. About 20 minutes in I left to get some overhead shots from Kimmel. The lighting was hard to work with but they had a huge spotlight on the stage which was great...white balance was confusing though what with those orange lanterns. Anyway, I was going to post some of my photos but for some reason they aren't uploading.

I thought it was absolutely terrifying that they just let everyone rush through, and that the secret service gave up; I was right there as they opened it, and it made me really question motives and security.
